Enjoy the Storming Show — host Nicholas will explain all the features.
Old tricks are the best. In the 1930s filmmakers already used a screen in the back to run a film. But filming the film resulted in a poor contrast. Luckily we live in the digital age and don’t have to face problems like this any more.
Place huge backgrounds on the grid. Use them to play videos behind your actors. Or create a landscape quickly and easily.
If a flat background is not enough add a sphere to your scene, use a still or play e.g. a video of moving clouds.
Invisible floortiles are nothing new. But none supported sound so far. Now you can choose from all 11 different surfaces for their characteristic sounds when a puppet walks over it.
Place backgrounds upon or beneath the grid. The shape is curved at the sides to make your camera work easier.
This rectangled or round tube covers any hole. Ideal for use in combination with the AVK Floorlift.
The revolution in moving navmeshes. For the first time ever you can move your puppets beneath the grid. Honestly, a bit tricky, but the possibilities are endless.
Of course, you can still use the much easier movement of lifting your puppets up.
Lets you place a background on the floor. Select an image, color it, or even play a video. The AVK Floormesh comes with a navmesh so your puppets can walk on it even if you lift it up.
Since Moviestorm offers this terrific terrain editor you can expand your scene set with a nice background. But placing props and puppets on the terrain had one downside: There are no shadows. The AVK Shadowdrop addresses this issue. Place it on the terrain, and you can place props there, move your puppets on it — and everything shows shadows just like on the grid.
New invisible floor tiles combined with a floor cover and a floor lift let you use also the space beneath the Moviestorm grid. Let your actors rise from the depth of the abyss and into the seventh heaven. Everything is possible with this new set of trickery props.
All background props offer a tintable version which also accepts a user image. The checkerboard texture allows user images with alpha channel. Furthermore there are plenty of translucent textures and colors. Use them to easily simulate fog, clouds, glass etc. Some textures require extra addons – but don’t worry, if you don’t have them the texture will simply be black.
AVK Panorama Backdrop has been updated to version 3. AVK Floorcover was updated to version 2.
